Troubleshooting Hints

The most likely reason you are having trouble entering a transaction is that you entered your username (email) or password incorrectly, so double-check the spelling of your email address and password. (If you think you may have forgotten your password, call customer service Call Toll Free: 1-888-iEATat8 (888.432.8288) ).

Another common problem involves your browser and "cookies." In order to complete a premium transactions and for your My Deals page to "remember" who you are and deliver you all your customized information, we must put a cookie (a small text file that stores your preferences) on your browser. Occasionally, this transfer does not work the first time you try to sign in.

If you got to a My Deals or My Transactions page which is blank, you should try the following:

  1. If you were logging in, click your browser's Back button and try to reenter your information. Sometimes that's all it takes.
  2. Make sure your Web browser is set to accept cookies. You will not be able to complete a transaction if your browser is not configured to accept cookies automatically (or alert you before accepting one). These cookies are removed when you close your browser.

For most browsers, it's fairly easy to change your cookie settings: step-by-step instructions are given below. You may wish to print out this page to make changing your settings easier. After you've changed your browser settings, be sure to return and try to complete your transaction.

Changing Your Browser's Cookie Settings

You can configure your Web browser to alert you before accepting cookies if you are using Netscape 4.0 and above, or Microsoft's Internet Explorer 4.0 or above. Please, remember that when alerted about the Session cookie, you must choose to accept it or you will not be able to go to your My Deals page or complete a premium transaction.

Netscape Navigator (Windows and Macintosh)

In version 4.0, go to the Edit menu and select Preferences. In the left menu pane, click Advanced. On the right pane, find the section titled Cookies and check the box labeled Warn me before accepting a cookie. Click OK.

Internet Explorer (Windows)

In version 4.0, go to the View menu and select Internet Options. Click the Advanced tab. Scroll down the list and find the Cookies section. Check the box labeled Prompt before accepting cookies. Click OK.

Internet Explorer (Macintosh)

In version 4.0 and later, go to the Edit menu and select Preferences. In the left menu pane, click on Cookies (you may have to click the small arrow next to Receiving Files to see the Cookies option). On the right, find the pull-down menu labeled When receiving cookies and select Ask for each cookie. Click OK.

With any of these browsers, you will now receive a warning whenever any cookie is sent, and you will have the option of declining the cookie. To use many features of this site, you must accept the cookie.
