The painted wood exterior is dark forest green trim on sparkling white with latticework trim. Inside there is a "turn of the century" casual elegance, with shining brass and dark wood accents. Polished wood floors and brass trim are found throughout the two-level establishment. The location offers intimate views of the Chicago River and of Chicago's famous "loop." Adjacent to the Chicago landmark twin towers of Marina City and the recently opened House of Blues, Smith & Wollensky is a major player in the revival of the River North area.
The oversized, custom-designed signature steak knives and the famous dry-aged in-house steaks are for sale within the restaurant. |
