Green Pastures
began its 50-year tradition of elegant dining rather quietly. But friends told friends, and the word spread. Austin's neighborhood retreat quickly became known citywide as the place to enjoy sumptuous gourmet dishes, fine wine and true Southern hospitality. It seems Green Pastures was made for special celebrations, with 7 acres of rolling lawns, grand Live Oaks, exotic peacocks, and of course, the wonderfully-prepared foods and attentive service Austin has come to expect from us for generations. Something proudly displayed in the mansion's beautifully preserved 19th century atmosphere and the staff's unfailing attention to detail. As Austin has continued to grow, green pastures has continued to safeguard the Victorian elegance that has made it an oasis in the heart of the city.
