The Experience:  Yabu Pushelberg, the talented design team behind other B.R. Guest Restaurants such as Dos Caminos and Blue Fin, preserved the industrial and artistic feel of the gallery-filled River North area in mind when designing Blue Water Grill with watermarked steel, antique mirrors and sculpted wood panels.

One look at Executive Chef Mark Chmielewski's imaginative and creative surf-and-turf menu and you'll know why Chicago Magazine called Blue Water Grill one of this month's 10 Hip Places. From the sea, you'll see Seared Maine Sea Scallops with a Semolina Cake, Endive and a Foie Gras Sauce. And to pay homage to the Chicago meatpacking industry, we proudly offer our 28 oz. "Tomahawk" Dry Aged Ribeye served with English Peas, Pearl Onions, Brie Tossed Fingerlings and finished in a Bordelaise Sauce. Or roll into Blue Water Grill for our wide assortment of sushi, like the Crispy Lobster Maki Roll with Grilled Pineapple and accented with White Balsamic "Ice." Just remember to save some room for the irresistible and fun-to-eat Pop-Ums, which are Crispy Ricotta Fritters served with Earl Grey Syrup, Toasted Almond Custard and Milk Chocolate Ganache.
