The papadam that was served was stale. I've eaten deliciously crispy and well made ones in Scotland and England and this one was by far the worst. I ordered the calamari which was very tender and delicously spicy. However, it was extremely garlick... Read morey and the flavors held no resemblance to Indian food - it tasted like calamari from an Italian restaurant. The naan was very good, though the selection at lunch was extremely limited. The $16 platter that held a sampling of Indian fare was ok but not great. The atmosphere is great for night time lounging and drinks, however the food is forgettable. The food at Natraj Tandoori - more of a take out food restaurant at Tustin Marketplace is much better.

Chose this restaurant for a girls night out and because the website showed the most sensual ambiance.
Food was of very good quality, but the service stunk. Our waiter didn't know the Indian dishes nor could pronounce any of them. Bartender got the ... Read morewrong drinks twice and finally they started cleaning the kitchen with pinesol before we even finished our meal. Uck!Really killed the mood.
Would go back with a date, but maybe try the patio?
