Consistently rated the number one restaurant in Southern California, Joachim Splichal has created the defining Franco-California restaurant. Patina offers what many consider to be the ultimate in dining. Upon entering Patina, the fabrics and textures give Patina's always elegant decor a subtly rich look.
The award-winning menus change every season. For example, the Fall game menu features partridge, wild pigeon, grouse, woodcock and pheasant flown in fresh weekly from Scotland. Sommelier Christopher Meeske is an Advanced Sommelier certified in 1991 by the Court of Master Sommeliers; he helped obtain Patina's Wine Spectator's Grand Award. In addition to the award-winning wine list, Mr. Meeske pairs wines by the glass to accompany each course of the Chef's tasting menu.
The flexible floor plan allows for private parties ranging in size from 10 to 60 and includes a bar.

"Thank you for arranging the reservations for me on Friday night at Union Bay Cafe. The food was excellent - prepared & served expertly.
The service was also way above average, from the moment we walked in until we left. I rate it very highly and will suggest Union Bay Cafe to others." Donna Marie-Seattle, WA
