Panchita's 3 is a Mexican/Salvadoran restaurant with tablecloths and a somewhat upscale menu. There are some real delights scattered across the menu and some good cooking being done by owner Rafael Campos. Lots of appetizers, so you can make it a tapas-style night if you want, but you'll be just as satisfied with the entrees.

"Mission natives Raphael Campos and Tina Lim's Panchitas #3 offers a far more rewarding tale than you might expect. They tell their story with sumptuous food, efficient service, and the unusual community feel evoked by their dining room. There is a sweetness to this restaurant." - SFStation.com
"Chef Rafael Campos took over his Salvadoran mother's restaurant and gave it a cool industrial-chic exterior that belies the unpretentious hearty food inside: pupusas(stuffed masa pancakes), seafood soups generous with langoustine and mussels, as well as deep red and tart green moles." - Food & Wine
