Shanghai 1930 is a cosmopolitan restaurant evocative of Shanghai in the period between the Wars, when it was called "Paris of the Orient." People all over the world were attracted to Shanghai in those years as it became a world center for cultural exchange, drawing from a myriad of world personalities, from politics to the arts. Shanghai, during the Thirties was also the place that melded different international cuisines that first fused the tastes of the East and West.
