Giovanni Iovine and wife Lisa Lo Bue are thrilled to announce their latest acquisition, Futura Bistro Modern in Brooklyn. The two hope to infuse the welcoming and warm spirit of Giovanni's Greenwich Village Italian eatery, Borgo Antico, into their newest feat. With a menu that matches the diversity of its Park Slope locale, the couple has created a kitchen away from your kitchenette.
The dining room is in the talented hands of partner Davor Petrovic, a smooth operator. Futura's "basics with a bent" are strongly influenced by the Argentine and Italian heritage of the partners. And the International wine list tangos harmoniously with the all-embracing comfort-fare; featuring Italian, French, Argentine and US wines.
A confortable terrace is open, a real hide out. The varied and affordable eats makes this the perfect destination when you're lost in a cloud of indecision.
