Chef Cory Schreiber opened Wildwood Restaurant twleve years ago and has rapidly become a leading figure in the Pacific Northwest's bustling culinary scene. Schreiber won the James Beard Award in 1998 for Best Chef Pacific Northwest - a fitting tribute to a man who cherishes the land, its people, and produce, much in the same way as Beard, a native Oregonian himself, did. A fourth generation restaurateur in Portland, Schreiber lives and breathes the "Cooking from the Source" mantra, emphasizing organic produce, local game, meats, seafood, and dairy products, prepared in ways that allow the natural beauty and flavors of the ingredients to shine forth, unobstructed by fussy embellishments.
Wildwood Restaurant offers a market driven menu featuring fresh seasonal ingredients from local farms and purveyors - a sumptuous diversity of meats, seafood, pastas, vegetables, and salads. Try a pizza from the clay oven, or indulge your sweet tooth with one of their luscious desserts, made daily.
At Wildwood, we bring you the best the Pacific Northwest has to offer!
Because we want you to taste the peak of the season, Wildwood's menu changes weekly. Cory and our team work with farmers to offer you what's fresh now! You'll always find your favorites - skillet roasted mussels with sun dried tomatoes and garlic in saffron vinaigrette, a salad of greens, crispy fried oysters and pancetta, and our classic
Wildwood burger.
