How It Works : Reservations

Off Peak Rewards
DinnerBroker's unique "Off-Peak" Rewards Program increases revenue and profits by filling your empty seats with new, incremental diners. Your dining room seats are perishable. When you don't fill them you have lost an opportunity to drive revenue and profit. DinnerBroker will increase your revenue by filling empty seats during your off-peak times. Almost all restaurants have some period during the week when they are less than half full. You now have an opportunity to discount during those specific days and times, and not displace a full paying guest. Also, you can change the program if your "off-peak" times change. The DinnerBroker "Discount" diner is an off-peak diner. The effective profit you generate from these diners is much greater than from a guest that dines at 8PM on Friday night. The only cost associated with an incremental off-peak diner is the cost of food and beverage. Therefore, even with a discount, up to 50% of this revenue goes directly to your bottom line.
How It Works:
  • Partner restaurants allocate reservations during "Off-Peak" demand.
  • The restaurant designates a specific time, quantity of tables and the percentage off that DinnerBroker will make available to its users. ("Off-Peak" Times are when your restaurant is less than 50% full.)
  • Percentages are determined by the restaurant with DinnerBroker's guidance.
We recommend anywhere from 15% and 30% off depending on capacity utilization.
The percentage off is applied to the entire meal price including all food and beverage (pre-tax and pre-tip).
Exceptions can be made for states where alcohol discounting is illegal.
  • DinnerBroker customers may reserve an "Off-Peak" reservation at any time prior to the reservation time.
  • Customers simply select the tables (no service charge to customer).
  • DinnerBroker calls the restaurant at a designated daily notification time to give the restaurant the reservation.
  • The restaurant deducts the percentage from the bill before presenting the check to the customer.

Standard Reservations:
DinnerBroker's Standard Reservations help fill your tables with incremental diners. You should offer times when you are less likely to be fully booked, but do not need to offer an "Off-Peak" Reward to attract diners.

How it Works:
  • Time-slots are typically not during busiest hours (no risk of overbooking).
  • The restaurant designates a specific quantity of tables, size and time to make available.
  • The restaurant is obligated to accept the DinnerBroker "Standard" Reservation.
  • DinnerBroker calls the restaurant at a designated daily notification time to give restaurant any reservations.

Prime-Time Reservations:
DinnerBroker's "Prime-Time" Reservation Program delivers high-income diners who don't cancel or no-show, and who spend more than your average diner. DinnerBroker typically grants these tables to Visa Dining Privileges diners.

How It Works:
  • Partner restaurants allocate reservations "Prime-Time"- typically 8:00pm.
  • DinnerBroker or VDP diners book the table.
  • DinnerBroker calls the restaurant at a designated daily notification time to give the restaurant the reservation or return unused reservations back to the restaurant.
